Data
Unlock the Full Potential of Data
Data is at the core of every industry, but the way data is managed determines its impact on a business. Integrating data from multiple sources can present challenges. Questions such as, “Which customer data is most accurate?” or “How can report performance be improved?” often arise. Understanding the insights that drive decisions is critical for success.
Data Warehousing
A Data Warehouse serves as a centralized repository for (historical) data, enabling streamlined access and analysis. Operational data is uploaded, processed, and distributed across multiple layers, each designed to perform specific functions. A Data Warehouse can be implemented on-premises or in the cloud, depending on business needs.
Data Migrations
Data is a valuable asset, even as applications change or evolve. Whether merging customer data after a company acquisition, consolidating systems, or retaining and cleaning data for compliance or analysis, effective data migration ensures consistency, accessibility, and accuracy. Properly handled migrations support seamless transitions and long-term data usability.
Data Virtualization
Handling large datasets requires more efficient solutions than traditional extraction methods. Data Virtualization provides a smarter approach by optimizing queries and retrieving only the data required, in real time. This ensures performance is maximized while reducing unnecessary data processing.
Data Warehouse Testing
Whether using Data Vault 2.0 or Kimball methodologies, systems adhere to specific rules and guidelines. While manual peer reviews can validate compliance, automating tests significantly improves efficiency and enhances code quality over time.
